Lagos APC lawmaker slumps, dies during campaign

  1. Hon. Abdul-Sobur Olayiwola Olawale, a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, has been officially pronounced dead after collapsing during Bola Tinubu’s political campaign in Jos, the capital of Plateau State.

Before his death on Tuesday, Olawale—also known as Omititi—represented Mushin Constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly.

The senator was one of the politicians and APC party members who descended on Jos to launch Tinubu’s presidential campaign ahead of the general elections in 2023.

Olawale reportedly slumped at the demonstration and passed away shortly after, according to information gathered.
