Ilebaye Odiniya, winner of Big Brother Naija season 8 (All-Stars), has confirmed that she has received her N120 million prize money from the show’s organizers. This comes amidst recent claims by season 7 winner, Phyna, that she has yet to receive her N100 million winnings.
During an Instagram live session with fans, Ilebaye addressed the issue directly, stating, “I have received my [BBNaija prize] money. I haven’t even touched a tiny part of it. My money hasn’t finished. I haven’t touched my prize money. And this is a fact.”
Ilebaye’s confirmation provides clarity for fans following Phyna’s public statement. It’s unclear why there might be a delay in Phyna receiving her prize money, but Ilebaye’s experience suggests it eventually reaches the winners.
