At the continental level, it ranks fourth behind Senegal (18th), Morocco (23rd) and Tunisia (30th).
With five major tournaments in different parts of the world, international women’s football has been making headlines worldwide in recent months.
Fifty-eight international matches were played in men’s events, mainly in Africa and Asia. As a result, changes in the August edition of the FIFA World Rankings are rare.
Two countries, Mauritania (107th, up 3 points) and Botswana (146th, up 3 points), performed well and moved up 3 places overall.
With a slew of international games coming out in September, the next version will have more movement.
