Let’s  examine the noble gas configurations for eight elements.

1. Sodium (Na)
The atomic number of sodium is 11. Its electronic configuration is 1s² 2s² 2p⁶ 3s¹. The noble gas configuration for sodium is [Ne] 3s¹.

2. Magnesium (Mg)
The atomic number of magnesium is 12. Its electronic configuration is 1s² 2s² 2p⁶ 3s². The noble gas configuration for magnesium is [Ne] 3s².

3. Aluminum (Al)
The atomic number of aluminum is 13. Its electronic configuration is 1s² 2s² 2p⁶ 3s² 3p¹. The noble gas configuration for aluminum is [Ne] 3s² 3p¹.

4. Silicon (Si)
