What happens to Water when Heated from 0°C to 100°C?
When water is heated from 0°C to 100°C, it undergoes a temperature increase, and the water changes phase at 100°C.
Below this temperature, water is in liquid form. At 100°C, it starts to boil and evaporate into steam (gas).
The energy required for this phase change is called latent heat of vaporization.
