The All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential flag bearer Bola Tinubu met with former President Goodluck Jonathan on Tuesday.
Tinubu was accompanied by APC vice presidential candidate Kashim Shettima to Jonathan’s residence in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT); Dapo Abiodun, Governor of Ogun; Simon Lalong, Governor of the Plateau; and Bello Matawalle, governor of Zamfara, among others.
Although details of what was discussed at the meeting meeting are not yet known.
APC supporters in recent times have been desperate to recruit the former president to the ruling party.
