Mathias Pogba and Friends plot to extort Paul

The French authorities are investigating a case of “attempted extortion by an organized gang” with regards to Paul Pogba.

Pogba has told police that he was trapped by childhood friends and two hooded men with assault rifles, who demanded €13m from him.

Apart from childhood friends, one of the alleged gang members is his brother Mathias Pogba.

They have attempted to intimidate him on various occasions, even visiting him at Juventus’ training center.

Between March 25 and 29, when France hosted the Ivory Coast and South Africa in two friendlies, Paul Pogba visited his family in Langy-sur-Marne.

His friends then took him to an apartment in Paris, where they accused him of not helping him financially since turning pro.

In this meeting, two armed men asked Pogba for €13 million for “services rendered,” stating they had protected him discreetly for 13 years.

Pogba has told investigators that he saw these blackmailers on several occasions, including: Manchester in April and Juve’s training ground in July

It was here in Turin where Pogba recognized his brother Mathias & then approached Juve’s lawyers, who decided to notify the police.

During the investigation, Paul stated that he has always been close to his childhood friends and never hesitated to help them out financially until January, when he kicked out a friend that he was hosting in Manchester.

This friend used Paul’s credit card to steal €200,000.

This comes a day after Mathias Pogba released a video on social media that promised “explosive revelations” about Paul.

“When you are famous the world is with you, the authorities listen more attentively. But that doesn’t put you above the law, the police aren’t your minions.”

The blackmailers attempted to discredit Paul by broadcasting messages that Paul asked a witch doctor to cast a spell on Kylian Mbappé, something Paul vehemently denies.

New info from le’quipe: Up until March, Mathias and Paul were very close with Mathias organizing an event at Paris’ Shangri-la hotel for his charity “48 H POUR.”

Paul, who is one of the charity’s biggest donors, attended the event on March 20.

Mathias: “Paul, you really wanted to shut me up completely to lie and send me to prison, I suspected it now it’s true, my version of the facts happens and unlike you, I have enough to prove my words and your lies. I’ll tell you again: brother, manipulating people is not good!”

“It’s not about money: You implicated me in spite of myself, I almost died due to you, you left me in the hole while fleeing & want to play innocent, when everything is said, people will see that there is no bigger coward, traitor and hypocrite than you on this earth.”

“Kylian, now do you understand? I have nothing negative against you, my words are for your good, everything is true and proven, the witch doctor is known!

Sorry to this brother, a so called Muslim deep in witchcraft, it’s never good to have a hypocrite and a traitor near you!”

Matthias had attended nearly every one of Paul’s matches in France’s Euro 2020 campaign.

Privately, he supported Pogba leaving Manchester United. Whilst he wanted to see Paul Pogba in a Real Madrid shirt, he hoped he would never play for PSG.

Matthias is 3 years older than Paul and was born in Conakry, Guinea, moving to Paris at a young age where he would grow up with his brothers Paul and Florentin.

Matthias and Florentin left Paris for Celta Vigo in 2007, where they would spend two years before returning to France.

After a year in Brittany-based lower-tier side Quimper, Matthias has bounced around from Wales, England, Scotland, Italy, Netherlands, France, Spain and Slovenia, most recently playing 12 times for Belfort in France’s fourth tier last season.

Paul Pogba paid an amount of nearly €100,000 to his former acquaintances, believing it would put an end to their blackmail attempts. This did not satisfy the extortionists who continued to demand €13 million, per RMC.
